Relay Network Renews HITRUST r2 Certification

We are pleased to announce that Relay has renewed its certified status for information security by HITRUST for another two years, demonstrating the highest level of information protection assurance. HITRUST r2 Certification demonstrates that Relay has met demanding compliance standards and is appropriately managing risk. This certification validates Relay’s commitment to privacy, security, and data protection. Relay most recently earned this achievement in 2022, and with this announcement, has renewed our status for another two years.

The Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST) developed the HITRUST CSF (Common Security Framework), a certifiable framework that can be used by any and all organizations that create, access, store, or exchange personal, sensitive, and/or financial information. To achieve HITRUST r2 Certification, organizations must meet a stringent set of requirements. Known for its rigorous and comprehensive assessment, achieving HITRUST r2 Certification demonstrates that a company has implemented a risk-based approach to security and privacy protection. Because of its inclusion of many existing security requirements placed upon organizations, it has become widely adopted across industries as their information protection framework.
